Thank you all for the wonderful support we had from quizzers, raffle and auction prize givers, our waiters and volunteers, parents who spoke so movingly and especially to Jim Carter for once again making this Quiz night a great evening.

This annual event is our core fundraising event which along with much needed donations keeps Parents In Need going. As the demand for our services grows year on year we are always looking for new ways to sustain the work we do, which is all voluntary. As usual the proceeds from the tickets and bar will go to fund the assessments for children with additional needs to ensure their education is the right one for them but we have been exploring the opening of a charity shop as a more sustainable way of growing our funding potential.

To start this enterprise we will not use any of the funds PIN has earmarked for families. But all the money raised from the raffle and auction at this year’s Quiz will go to the start-up costs of the first Parents In Need shop, money which will be refunded to the charity once it is up and running.
We are truly grateful to everyone for their generosity.
